Welcome to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate:
Ouazarzate is known as Berber Hollywood: the beauty of its natural settings and the quality of the light have attracted many directors and many famous films were filmed and still filming there. Being located at the confluence of the Draa and Dades valleys, the city is a must for southern Morocco. The gate of the Sahara is another name that given to Ouarzazate. It has a pretty kasbah which belonged to Pasha El Glaoui.
The marvelous kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is located on the southern slope of the High Atlas, in a set of valleys that are part of the oases of southern Morocco declared as World Heritage. It is an area with many geological and mineral deposits, which is inhabited by the descendants of several Berber tribes and which enjoys great socio-cultural wealth due to its palm groves, springs, khettaras, its craftsmanship and its moussems.
Visiting Morocco of course is visiting those two magicals places.

Day 1
The trip start with a pickup from your Hotel/Riad/Villa... in Marrakech around 7h30. Comfortable minibus with air-conditioned and good driver will be waiting for you for the journey.
On the road many stops are programmed to enjoy the landscape of Morocco and to enjoy the Atlas Mountains. Explore the area with your driver and learn about the sites planned for your trip. Free time for a break before crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
Stop to take photos of the mountain peaks on the pass at 7,415 feet above sea level (2,260 meters). Continue to Atlas Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate, the largest film studio in the world that starred in the Game of Thrones and too many movies.
Spend free time touring the studios or exploring on your own. Snap photos of the region's unique rugged local landscapes. After the studio, you purchase lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area, with excellent prices and stunning panoramic views.
Finally, head to the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, recognized as a UNESCO site and one of the most extraordinary kasbahs (fortresses) in Morocco.
It's really short but memories will still in the head and the heart, it's time to get back to Marrakesh.
