Introduction
Welcome to Agadir:
The city of Agadir is located along the west coast and is the capital of the Sous Massa region. About 250 km away from Marrakech. Bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, Agadir is modern and appreciated above all for its beach, which is more than 10 kilometers long, its relaxed atmosphere and the great hospitality of its citizens.
The sand, the sea and the sun make this city, rebuilt and refurbished almost entirely after the strong earthquake that destroyed it in 1960, a magnificent, green and luxurious seaside resort. Its sandy shores, town and dozens of hotels are a major tourist attraction for many visitors from Europe and beyond during the winter months. The town is surrounded by residential neighborhoods but the seafront is the real highlight: the long sandy beach is lapped by crystal clear waters and the sun shines here most of the year.
